Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with CusCare, Logistics, Sales and Service teams and Asia Site Controllers to perform and coordinate the quarterly revenue recognition exercise.
  • Perform monthend closing activities
  • Perform monthly bank reconciliation
  • Review and maintain dealer's agreements. Monthly dealer commission calculation, reconciliation and accrual. Prepare dealer commission statement and coordinate with dealers for balance and payment.
  • Perform weekly and monthly reconciliation of GST payment. Work closely with Logistics, Shipping and forwarders to enable the GST payment reconciliation.
  • Prepare and submit monthly/quarterly GST reporting and submission to IRAS.
  • Responsible to maintain and reconcile general ledger. Coordinate and perform monthly balance sheet reconciliation and cleanup of longterm open items.
  • Review and provide accrual for recurring and nonrecurring expenses on monthly basis prior to monthend close.
  • Assist in preparation of statutory and taxation schedules and reporting for the annual audits.
  • Assist in coordinate with D&T on annual statutory audit and tax audit, and quarterly SOX audit
  • Responsible for cash and treasury management, in particular cash forecast and foreign exchange reports
  • Establish and maintain Standard Operating Procedures/Processes for the tasks performed and ensure continuous efficiency improvement.
  • Assist in ensuring compliance with Sarbanes Oxley legislation i.e. demonstrating an auditable system of controls sufficient to guarantee integrity of financial results. Perform quarterly SOX tests and narratives update for Financial Close, Accounts Payable and Accruals.
  • Any other accounting related ad hoc duties as instructed by Accounting Manager

Requirements:

  • Min degree in Accountancy or equivalent.
  • At least 5 years handson general accounting experience in a dynamic MNC environment
  • Demonstrates high value of ethic and integrity
  • Good problemsolving skills and is able to multitask with independence
  • Good working knowledge and well versed with Microsoft office, especially Advanced Excel and Pivoting
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Good analytical skills, strong selfinitiatives, and team player
  • Knowledge of SAP is an advantage
