About the team


The success of TikTok's data business model hinges on the supply of a large volume of high quality labeled data that will grow exponentially as our business scales up.

However, the current cost of data labeling is excessively high.

The Data Solutions team is built to understand data strategically at scale for all Global Business Solution (GBS) business needs.

Data Solutions Team uses quantitative and qualitative data to guide and uncover insights, turning our findings into real products to power exponential growth.

Data Solutions Team responsibility includes infrastructure construction, recognition capabilities management, global labeling delivery management.


About the role


We are looking for product managers to build a platform in order to power the monetization business with unstructured data.

The end-to-end product will need to drive the scaling of data labelling / annotation through automated processes and deliver significant measurable impact with the least possible cost (labelling productivity and efficiency).


What you will do

  • Feature Specification: Gather requirements, define functionality via PRDs/MRDs, and set goals in a clear, actionable format for product team and drive product delivery.
  • Product Delivery: Collaborate with stakeholders engineering and design to deliver product functionality iteratively and rapidly against predefined goals.
  • Product QA: Identify, prioritize, and resolve technical, functional, and business quality issues across use cases. that are applicable to the product.
  • Data Fluency: Generate actionable insights using data and leverage these insights to achieve goals set for the product, and to connect them with goals to meaningful business outcomes.
  • Voice of the customer: Gather customer feedback (from all forms) to understand how users engage with the product, make better decisions, and drive meaningful outcomes for the business
  • Stakeholder Management: Collaborate and align with crossfunctional stakeholders, and senior leaders and executives in the respective product areas to ensure successful delivery of PRDs/MRDs.
  • Product Ownership: Connect product functionality and goals to strategic objectives of the team

Qualifications:


  • Bachelors / Master's degree in related business or technical field, or equivalent (preferably in Computer Science)
  • Minimally 3 years of working experience with at least 1 or 2 years of product management experience
  • Experience in driving elements of product development life cycle from vision to execution (i.e., product vision, GTM strategy, driving requirements and product launch)
  • Experience working on large scale platforms to drive growth, retention, and engagement initiatives for cloud/enterprise and/or developer areas.
