Description

To assist Safety Manager on all safety, health, environmental, and welfare matters, to ensure the Project complies with its statutory obligations and safety requirements.

To ensure the implementation and monitoring of appropriate safety measures in accordance with the Workplace Health and Safety Act.
To assist Safety Manager in liaising and coordinate with stakeholders, and other Consultants employed by Developer.
To attend Main contractor's daily toolbox briefings, conduct regular site safety inspections, and prepare report of observation and follow up on the rectification.
To highlight areas where training/certification is required to meet the standards imposed by Legislation, Approved Codes of Practice, or H.S.E. guidance.
To familiarize with the risks and control measures related to each work activity.
To carry out investigations into all accidents and nearmiss incidents and to record the findings on the relevant forms.

Requirement:

At least 3 years of relevant experience in construction industry preferably 2 years with developer/main contractor
Must be a registered Workplace Safety and Health Officer with MOM and have been practicing as WSHO for at least 3years
Has developed a Risk Management Implementation Plan (bizSAFE Level 2) or equivalent
Good communication skills and team player
