Roles & Responsibilities

Responsibilities

Delivering code that turns our vision of the Zilliqa blockchain into reality.
Keeping up with the latest technologies in the blockchain space and understanding when and where to adopt them
Advising business owners (for the core blockchain, defi and applications) on the options available to them and then implementing and evaluating those options.
Peer-reviewing the design and code of our other core engineers
Providing guidance and mentorship to your team and the wider developer community in Zilliqa.
Maintenance and support where necessary.
Providing technical support to our partners, such as exchanges and miners

Requirements

Hold a good degree in a numerate subject (preferably computer science)
Be prepared to work on a variety of projects, in whatever language and with whatever tools are most appropriate.
Be prepared to work with limited supervision - you should be able and willing to design and deliver end-to-end solutions.
Have leadership qualities and be able to mentor highly productive developers

We would like (but do not require) you to:

Be able to program to a high standard in some programming language (typically Rust or TypeScript, but C, C++, golang, are all good examples)
Have some experience with networking, cryptography and systems programming.
Have a basic understanding of blockchain
Have some idea how cloud environments and Kubernetes work.
