    Roles & Responsibilities

    Requirement

    1. At least two years ' experience on multi-purpose vessel as Master.

    2. Thorough knowledge on ISM/ISPS/MLC procedures , International and Singapore related conventions and regulations.

    3. Proficient in Microsoft office.

    4. Preferable previous experience as Marine Superintendent.

    5. Good organization, communication and people management skills.

    Good team player, communication, analytical and problem-solving skills. Fluent in English, oral and written.

    6. Ability to communicate with Chinese client or ship crews will be a plus point.

    Job Description

    1. Be in charge of marine management of assigned ships under the leadership of Marine Manager.

    2. Ride and sail with vessel to carry out shipboard Maritime safety inspections as per company requirements.

    3. To carry out shipboard Maritime safety inspections as required.

    4.. To carry out Incident / investigation as required.

    5. To review the minutes of the shipboard safety committee meetings.

    6. To review and approve risk assessments as required.

    7. To coordinate with and support the Technical department in cargo and commercial matters as required.

    8. To carry out shipboard and shore-based training of officers and crew

    9. Responsible for the assessment of the captain and crew of deck department of the ship in charge and record and file

    10. Supervise and guide the cargo safety management of the ship's general cargo loading and unloading operations, lashing and unlashing operations, etc., including reviewing cargo transportation technical plans (including stow, loading and unloading, lashing plans, etc.).

    11.Strengthen the pre-control of anti-typhoon, heavy weather and fog navigation safety of ships in charge .

    12. When the ship in emergency, follow the arrangement of the leadership of the company and the management department, and participate in relevant emergency actions;

    13. Responsible for urging the ship to implement and correct the "nonconformity, accident and any incident found in the operation of the system;

    14. Collect and report changes to relevant regulations, rules and guidelines within the responsibilities of this position.

    15. Any other work assigned by superiors.
