Responsibilities:


  • Key Leadership Role: you will play a pivotal role in leading the growth and execution of NX's development strategy. You will work closely with the executive team to establish and implement a comprehensive growth plan that aligns with the company's longterm vision.

Implement Business Strategies:
Lead the development and execution of comprehensive business strategies to achieve the company's growth objectives.

In this position, you will focus on negotiating and securing master supply agreements, development capital, and engineering services while coordinating with internal engineering, project management and sales teams and ensuring alignment of strategic efforts.


  • Identify New Business Opportunities: Proactively identify potential business opportunities and market trends to drive growth in existing and new markets. Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and customer insights to assess industry landscapes and leverage opportunities.
  • Foster Client Relationships: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders. Understand their needs, concerns, and objectives to offer tailored solutions that enhance longterm partnerships.
  • Customer Engagements and Partnerships: Take the lead in establishing strong partnerships with developer/owner and other potential customers. You will actively engage with prospects to identify their needs, offer tailored solutions, and drive successful deal closures, while maintaining a customercentric approach.
  • Contractual Risk Management: Manage and mitigate contractual risks associated with multiyear master supply agreements. You will assess capacity allocation and proactively identify potential upside and downside scenarios to ensure mutually beneficial agreements.

Create and manage reporting dashboards that provide insightful data on the sales funnel, contracted opportunities, and key performance indicators.

Your analytical skills will be crucial in identifying growth opportunities and areas for improvement.

  • International Market Expansion: As part of your responsibilities, you will identify and deploy customer engagement models targeting Southeast Asian markets. This will involve conducting market research and developing strategies to penetrate new countries in the region effectively.

Foster a collaborative working environment by engaging with various internal departments, including marketing, product development, finance, and legal. Your ability to collaborate across teams will facilitate smooth execution of business development initiatives.

  • Industry Insights and Trends: Stay uptodate with the latest industry trends, competitor analysis, and emerging technologies. Utilize this knowledge to provide valuable insights and recommendations to the leadership team, contributing to the overall strategic direction of the company.
  • Team Development and Mentoring: Lead and mentor the business development team, providing guidance, support, and coaching to foster professional growth and enhance overall team performance.

Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field. MBA preferred.
  • Proven experience (10+ years) in business development, sales, or engineering, within the solar industry in Southeast Asia.
  • Indepth understanding of the solar industry in southeast Asia, market trends, customer behavior, and competitive landscape.
  • Strong understanding of master supply agreements, development capital, and engineering services.
  • Demonstrated track record of successfully closing complex deals, achieving revenue targets and driving business growth.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and influence key stakeholders effectively.
  • Excellent analytical and problemsolving abilities to identify and address business challenges.
  • Proficiency in using MS Office Suite and Salesforce/CRM software.
  • Leadership acumen with the capacity to lead and inspire crossfunctional teams.
  • Strategic thinker with a resultsdriven mindset. Ability to travel domestically and internationally, as needed.
