This is a new Operations Analyst opening is with a high performing Securities broker with a global presence and a strong footprint in Singapore.

The role offers an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to gain valuable Corporate Actions, Settlements and Projects experience in the dynamic world of securities brokerage.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and process corporate actions for equities, including dividends, mergers, and stock splits.
• Monitor and reconcile trade settlements to ensure timely and accurate processing.
• Collaborate with trading desks, clients, and custodians to resolve settlement issues and discrepancies.
• Conduct research and analysis to support decision-making related to corporate actions and settlements.
• Maintain documentation and procedures for corporate actions and settlement processes.
• Stay updated with industry regulations and market trends affecting corporate actions and settlements.
• Liaise with IT dept on automation enhancement projects

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
• 1-3 years' experience in an operations role within the Financial Services industry
• Knowledge of securities markets, corporate actions, and settlement processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel.
