The National University of Singapore is the national research university of Singapore Founded in 1905 as the Straits Settlements and Federated Malay States Government Medical School NUS is the oldest higher education institution in Singapore Job description About NUS Business School Founded in the same year that Singapore gained independence NUS Business School stands today among the world s leading business schools It is distinctive for offering the best of global business knowledge with deep Asian insights preparing students to lead Asian businesses to international success and to help global businesses succeed in Asia For more than 50 years NUS Business School has offered a rigorous relevant and rewarding business education to outstanding students from across the world That would not have been possible without a group of dedicated professionals who are passionate about building a positive environment to grow and groom future business leaders And we are looking to add to our BIZ family Job Description As part of the BBA Curriculum team the Senior Executive/Assistant Manager plays a key role in supporting both administrative and student-facing functions of the NUS Business School undergraduate programme The role manages important academic processes such as course registration Independent Study Courses ISC BIZ Dissertation class scheduling Advance Placement Test APT University processes relating to Leave of Absence LOA degree withdrawals Tuition Fee Waivers This position is suited for someone who is independent organised meticulous able work effectively with students departments faculty members other University units The incumbent will also support Team Lead driving improvements through automation process refinement data analysis course planning Duties Responsibilities Programme Administration Student Support Support Course Registration Exercise including system setup appeals processing student enquiries Manage Independent Study Course ISC application review course allocation monitoring timelines gathering student feedback Administer BIZ Dissertation processes application review course allocation timeline management appointment examiners final presentation grade submission Support class scheduling all BIZ undergraduate courses venue booking Advance Placement Test APT operations registration release outcomes/results invigilation Advance Placement Credit posting Review process Leave Applications assessing documents recommending Deanery complex cases Handle Withdrawal requests document review student support counselling recommending Deanery Process Tuition Fee Waiver applications document review recommendations follow-up action central units Faculty Support Engagement Foster sustain strong working relationships department administrators faculty members involved ISC Dissertation supervisors related matters Work closely faculty members supervisors on ISC/dissertation/APT related matters uphold academic rigour integrity Act link between students department administrators faculty staff needed Monitor progress ISCDissertation including periodic checks adherence submission deadlines Ensure consistent transparent timely communication expectations requirements assessment criteria Manage enquiries provide accurate guidance directing appropriate stakeholders where necessary Lead support processes including application grading coordination checking graduation requirements Ensure comply policies regulations Review end-end processes gaps propose improvements enhance efficiency accuracy service quality Assist curriculum-related initiatives automation projects improvement data analysis Collaborate colleagues Undergraduate Studies Office departments Faculty Staff Central Units Provide guidance advisory department administrators Faculty Staff academic when needed Statistics reports recommendations senior leadership
