Responsibilities:
- Liaise with the country contracts & procurement team on constriction contracts and procurement aspects;
- Review the tender drawings and documentation and perform the tender evaluation and assessment;
- Review and monitoring of region project development and related budget and costs;
- Review the variation cost and the project's final account;
- Formulate the standardization of the contracts and procurement practices, templates, guidelines, and policies for China and Malaysia;
- Carry out periodic internal costs, contracts and procurement audits.
Requirements:
- Degree in a construction related field or equivalent practical experience in Malaysia and/or China
- Minimum 810 years' of relevant experience
- Understand the FIDIC Conditions of Contract or Malaysia PAM Contract
- Must be a team player, deadline driven and commitment to completion date
- Good organizational skills with proven track record of managing multiples projects in a transparent and welldocumented manner; excellent attention to details
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiples priorities in an ambiguous, busy and contradictory environment, delivering outstanding results in a timely manner
- Ability to work well and exert influence as a member of a highly integrated team comprising both technical and nontechnical members
- Must be able to understand, read and write Chinese and/or Malay terms and contracts
