Duties and Responsibilities

Compare identifying information of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify information against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records.
Reject damaged items, record shortages, and other conditions.
Input receivable into ERP system.
Assist in maintaining Export shipping data and customer preference files.
Assist in examining outgoing shipments to ensure shipments meet specifications.
Perform outgoing packing and prepare shipping documentation.
Ensure export compliance and regulatory requirements are followed.
Track shipments as required to ensure delivery to customers.
Assist Logistics Officer in coordinating with local freight companies and freight forwarders on returning and shipping customer's products to them.
Visual inspect material for defects and report these and any unusual situation immediately.
Proper bookkeeping of temporary loan inventory and its return.
Maintain good housekeeping practices in work area.
Wear the necessary personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
Comply with all company and safety rules and regulations during course of duties.

Requirements:

At least 5 years of logistics experience in Aerospace industry or relevant fields.
Experience in ERP, use of lifting devices and Material Handling Equipment (MHE).
Valid forklift license.
Ability to interpret job repair travelers and knowledge on outbound shipment packing and documentation.
Good understanding of shipping incoterm and use of MS Offices.
