Roles and Responsibilities

Implement integrations and automations requested by internal stakeholders (Operations, Business, Developers, etc.)
Handle Change, Incident, Problem and Release management
Act as escalation point for operations team of various functions such as exchange operations, clearing & settlement operations, risk and finance for technical troubleshooting of issues
Perform all Conformance Testing and documentation

Handle Member Onboarding

FIX, FIXML, API, websockets
Provide FIX and FIXML technical/ business support
Build tools to reduce occurrences of errors and improve customer experience
Deploy software to the UAT, preProd and Production environments following release management process using any CI/CD tooling available (e.g. Circles CI)
Perform root cause analysis for production issues and be familiar with the incident management process
Investigate and resolve technical issues
Develop scripts to automate visualization
Develop dashboards for Observability
Logs, metrics, traces
Design procedures for system troubleshooting and maintenance

Requirements:

Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant field
Work experience as a Technology Operations Engineer or similar software engineering role
Business domains: Exposure to Financial institutes in trading space, experience of working in an exchange or clearing house.
Possess experience in client onboarding using FIX, FIXML (is a plus), API or websockets.
Knowledge of derivatives, futures and options instruments will be a plus.
Working knowledge of databases and SQL (cloud database hosting)

Knowledge/experience of ITIL

Change, Incident, Problem and Release management
Experience/knowledge of working on a cloud platform (AWS/GCP/Azure)
Familiarity with any one of the CI/CD tools (Jenkins, CirclesCI, GitLab, AWS Code Commit)
Possess problemsolving skills with team spirit
Knowledge of DevSecOps, OWASP Top 10, web hosting an advantage
Exposure/understanding of networking concepts CDN, DNS, TLS, Edge computing, etc. an advantage
