    Roles & Responsibilities

    Duration: 1 year contract with 1 month bonus

    Salary: $2300 - $2800

    Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm

    Location: Seletar

    Job Responsibilities

    1. Responsible for coordinating the process of demand forecasting process including:

    • Support the sales and operating planning (S&OP) process by ensuring an efficient, effective and reliable demand review on the monthly basis;
    • Liaise between Ops/Supply Chain, Sales and Finance, Customer Service, etc. responsible for demand forecast accuracy by product.
    • Analyze backlog orders, current orders, and upcoming orders to prioritize, plan and schedule the production operations.
    • Analyze delays and interruptions accordingly to adjust production schedule to meet customer timelines.
    • Plan and prioritize operations to ensure maximum performance and minimum delay.

    2. Responsible for material supply. This includes:

    • Development of the demand forecast, managing and optimizing inventory levels, supplying planning data to operations and sales team.
    • Provide input and recommendations on how to optimize production planning, scheduling processes.
    • Develop and maintain working relationships with Supply chain partners, as well as functional departments within ASC network.
    • Resolves parts quality problems, shortages control and review inventory status.
    • Select the optimum lot size for different product designs to reduce excessive stock and reduce obsolescence.

    3. Create daily production plan according to customer demands.

    • Create and monitor work orders based on customer requirements.
    • Print labels, checklist, etc for production usage.
    • Control and manage Raw material in FIFO basis.
    • Monitor material availability for production continuity.
    • Review of critical line performance in terms of cycle time, starts and delivery accuracy, WIP on hold etc

    4. Participate/Involvement in EHS, lean and continuous project improvement initiatives.

    5. Performs Ah-Hoc duties as assigned by the department head.

    Skill & Experience Required

    • At least two years of directly applicable experience or in supply chain function, like planning, warehouse, or Customer Service experience.
    • Good understanding of the workflow in a production environment.
    • Must be able to effectively read, write, and communicate in English
    • Must be able to operate site computerized system and perform required data entry.
    • Nitec, Higher Nitec, Diploma in Supply Chain Management.
