    Within our network of eldercare centres island-wide, the goal is to provide appropriate and affordable eldercare service to families who are in need of day care for their senior members and relatives.

    We provide a suite of integrated services and programmes which include social day, dementia, nursing and respite care, along with Rehabilitation programmes such as physiotherapy and occupational therapy, wellness programmes and transportation. Through these services we hope to provide the finest service to the elderly in our care.

    We are looking for a Transport Executive to join the team.

    As a Transport Executive, you will coordinate and manage all transportation-based planning works towards optimising the fleet and resources to increase ridership and achieve a high return on investment on the assets. You will also be tasked to plan the maintenance program of the fleet, and monitor compliance with all scheduled maintenance programs to achieve a reliable and safe operating fleet of vehicles utilising a fleet maintenance system. You will report to the transport manager and assist in achieving the necessary KPIs for a seamless and efficient transport network.

    Responsibilities:

  • Design transport routes and operate the potential transport system.
  • Conduct route optimisation surveys to reduce the transit time of the fleet and achieve cost efficiency on fuel consumption.
  • Provide a monthly deployment plan of assets to achieve a high return on investment of each asset.
  • Prepare monthly reports on operation efficiency of both in-house and outsourced vehicles to ensure maximum loads.
  • Monitor the availability of staff to optimise daily operations with a balance of in-house and outsourced vehicles.
  • Work together with the Transport Executive (Operations) to ensure 100% operation efficiency of transport support to all centres.
  • Assist Transport Manager in planning all maintenance activities for the fleet to achieve zero downtime of vehicles during operational hours.
  • Prepare monthly fleet maintenance reports to highlight abnormally high expenses assets to the Transport Manager for corrective actions.
  • Work with Transport Executive (Operations) to analyse quarterly vehicle defects reports to the Transport Manager for corrective actions.
  • Operate the potential computer asset management system that will automate the workflows and processes related to fleet maintenance.
  • Assist Transport Manager on improvement project write-ups to secure approval and fundings for these projects.
  • Any other projects that are assigned by the supervisor.

    • Job Requirements:

  • Minimum Engineering Diploma or Degree, preferably with logistical or supply chain management relevance and vehicle engineering knowledge.
  • Experience with fleet management and maintenance.
  • Minimum with 5 years (Diploma Holders) or 3 years (Degree Holders) of relevant work experience within a transportation or logistical role.
  • Proficiency in data analytical tools and dashboard solutions will be an added advantage.
  • Experience in project or transport management within the Intermediate Long Term Care sector will be advantageous.
  • Team player with strong communication, interpersonal and organisational abilities.
  • Capable of working independently and under time constraints.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Fluency in Mandarin is required due to work environment.
  • Class 3 or 4 valid driving license.
