DESIGNATION :
Business Development Manager


RESPONSIBILITIES


As part of the Business Development team, you will develop and implement effective solution-selling strategies at all levels within assigned industries and locations.

Providing strategic direction in your specific industry, you will work collaboratively with the Regional Sales/Product Marketing teams to develop and foster long-term business partnerships that can be leveraged to enable the achievement of our key corporate goals.



RESPONSIBILITIES
:


  • Meet / exceed sales growth objectives for the assigned industry (Energy) and locations.
  • Drive valueadded / custom solutions within assigned industry (Energy) and locations.
  • Work independently or in conjunction with regional Sales/Product Marketing teams to translate the specific sales strategy into location specific execution plans that will enable market penetration of Energy Industry within Southeast Asia.
  • Work effectively as part of a team to achieve individual, team and departmental objectives, sharing knowledge and skills as appropriate.
  • Plan and participate in marketing activities for the assigned industry (Energy) and locations.
  • Contribute to the tender / product specification process and manage presales strategy.
  • Perform designin / crossover wins from competitors and create barriers to competitors in assigned industries and locations.
  • Foster and build good customer relationships at a senior level that may be leveraged to maximise revenue growth and customer retention.
  • Report regularly on project status / activity as required by the management team.
  • Consistently provide feedback and insight to Product Marketing teams regarding competition, product and /or market needs to help develop a competitive edge.
  • Provide proactive leadership and maintain clear and concise communication channels with individual sales personnel within the locations responsible for Energy customers.
  • Demonstrate a positive and flexible approach to changing business priorities.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Diploma degree in Electronics / Electrical / Marketing.
  • Technical discipline preferred and /or equivalent business experience in the Energy industry.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience with track record in the Energy Industry
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills
  • Customerdriven and resultsoriented.
  • Selfmotivated and ability to take lead and show initiative.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills.
  • A good team player.
  • Disciplined, hardworking and able to perform under pressure.
  • Willing to travel regionally.
