- To ensure efficient running of clinic operations
- To check for signs and symptoms of general health conditions through observations and communications with patients to get a detailed case history
- To utilize specialist equipment in the diagnosis and examinations of the patients eyes to detect signs of injury, disease and defects in vision
- To offer advice and reassurance to patients about matters related to vision
- To be responsible for delivering high quality patient care and to provide necessary advice
- To continually acquire more knowledge through self-learning/conferences to provide optimal services to patients
- Diploma/Degree in Optometry or equivalent
- Registered with Singapore's Optometrists and Opticians Board (OOB)
- Preferably with at least 1 year of relevant experience

The Role
Optometrists are responsible for performing eye examinations, advising on visual problems and providing primary vision care using specialist diagnostic equipment. Trained to recognize the various types of eye disease and determine the appropriate examinations to be performed.
