SAP HCM ABAP Developer (m/f/d) – Remote:

DCG IT Ltd is currently seeking an experienced Senior SAP HCM Developer for a high-impact project within the German public sector.
This is a long-term contract opportunity focused on the development and implementation of interface solutions for authority communications, specifically regarding tax and social security reporting.

Project Details:

Your Responsibilities:

Interface Development: Designing and implementing complex interfaces to government systems (e.g., State of Berlin) using REST, RFC, and file-based technologies.
Solution Design: Creating detailed technical specifications and conceptual designs in close coordination with functional departments.
HCM Optimization: Developing and adapting SAP HCM solutions, specifically within Personnel Administration (PA) and Time Management (PT).
Quality Assurance: Ensuring high-standard documentation and rigorous testing of all developed interfaces and solutions.
Stakeholder Management: Acting as a technical liaison between specialized departments and technical contact points.

Requirements:

Expertise: Several years of proven project experience as a Senior SAP HCM Developer.
Technical Skills: Deep proficiency in ABAP development and SAP interface technologies (REST, RFC, File-based).
Functional Knowledge: Strong understanding of SAP HCM modules, specifically Infotypes, Personnel Administration, and Time Management.
Industry Experience: Prior experience within the Public Sector (Öffentlicher Sektor) is highly desirable.
Analytical Skills: Ability to translate complex functional requirements into robust technical specifications.
