Job Title:
System Engineer

Salary:
SGD3,000 to SGD4,500

Location:
Bukit Merah, Singapore

Our client is a Singapore-based company that provides IT services and solutions to businesses across various industries. They specialize in delivering customized and scalable IT solutions, including cybersecurity, cloud computing, data analytics, and software development.

Responsibilities:

Install updates and patches for all IT systems, including planning for scheduled preventive maintenance.
Manage inhouse POS systems and related hardware.
Explore new, faster business processes and implement analytics for meaningful decisionmaking for management.
Ensure that all automated system processes (data backup, etc.) and scheduled tasks (batch jobs) are properly carried out on time.
Update and maintain an uptodate asset list for all hardware and software.
Prepare and maintain uptodate documentation, including SOP, user guide, network layout, system design, and configuration.
Be deployed to client's office islandwide.
Perform other duties assigned by management.

Requirements:

Ability to provide enduser support in a timely and effective manner.
Knowledge of installation and maintenance, including updates and patches for all IT systems and planning for scheduled preventive maintenance.
Familiarity with POS systems and related hardware.
Understanding of analytics and business processes.
Knowledge of automated system processes, such as data backup and scheduled tasks (batch jobs), and ensuring they are properly carried out on time.
Ability to maintain an uptodate asset list for all hardware and software.
Proficiency in documentation, including SOP, user guide, network layout, system design, and configuration.
Flexibility and adaptability to changing requirements.

Proficiency in Mandarin for dealing with Mandarin-speaking clients and colleagues in China.
