    Description

    Your role

    The individual will source, negotiate, manage strategic suppliers, set the long-term goals and objectives, define the plan to achieve these objectives, and orchestrate the resources to bring value to Digital Realty. The individual will also be responsible for identifying and developing the strategies to lower costs and increase value through strategic sourcing, vendor managed inventory agreements and maintenance contract. A key contributor in the team to support Digital Realty's strategy for procurement and supplier management in support of Data Center Operations, Design Engineering & Construction and Implementation Services. A dual leadership position within the APAC Data Center Operations and Global Supply Chain teams.

    What you'll do

  • responsible for overseeing and optimizing the end-to-end supply chain and procurement functions across APAC
  • Provide leadership in strategic sourcing of services and materials for critical equipment to support construction projects and data center operations, ultimately driving cost savings and increasing quality.
  • Develop and manage critical supplier relationships, increasing performance in delivery and service.
  • Be a key team member and leader in developing and executing the Supply Chain & Procurement strategic plan.
  • Risk Mitigation: Identify and evaluate potential supply chain risks, such as disruptions, geopolitical factors, or regulatory changes. Develop risk mitigation strategies to ensure business continuity and minimize potential disruptions
  • Oversight of supplier business reviews and developing performance improvement plans based on annual surveys.
  • Development and execution of the sourcing roadmap for critical services, with a 2-year view of sourcing projects based on expiring contracts or new requirements.
  • Leadership role in the implementation of systems to support Procure-to-Pay Support processes. Process Improvement: Continuously review and enhance supply chain processes to improve efficiency, reduce lead times, and enhance overall performance. Implement best practices and benchmark the organization's supply chain against industry standard

  • What you'll need

  • Degree required: MBA or University Degree in engineering, business, or supply chain or other relevant discipline
  • Over 5 years of experience in procurement and supply chain
  • Successful track record of negotiation and savings for highly technical operations and capital equipment
  • Extensive knowledge of contracts and legal terms supporting data center operations
  • Skilled in managing supplier relationships aligned with global procurement strategies.
