Assistant Manager/AVP, Trade Credit

You will join as a professional individual contributor and be part of Marsh's Credit Specialties team in Singapore taking a key role in new business acquisition, servicing and growth of existing client accounts.

We will count on you to:
- Proactively identify and develop new Trade Credit prospects / opportunities, either independently, or with support from team heads and assume an annual new business target associated with this.
- Maintain active partnerships with insurers and clients including executive level in identifying risks and opportunities, provide recommendations and decision support for business strategy and performance
- Monitor new business opportunities and status updates in Marshforce.
- Manage insurance submission and placement; work independently or with internal specialists to deliver products and services to the target client in order to convert the prospect
- Independently manage newly acquired key Trade Credit accounts and be responsible for key deliverables and revenue.
- Ensure operational excellence, reporting and compliance.
What you need to have:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Commerce, Economics, Finance or Banking ideally.
- Strong credit insurance knowledge with 35 years of related work experience.
- Possess broad technical knowledge across commodity finance, trade finance etc.
- Proactive and able to work independently.
- Good communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
- Strong relationships building skills
- A selfstarter with a proactive and energetic approach
