    Roles & Responsibilities

    Job Summary

    We are looking for a highly motivated, skilled and meticulous Project Controller for a Multinational Corporation (MNC). The Project Controller will play a crucial role in ensuring the financial success of our projects by providing comprehensive financial control, monitoring, and reporting. This position requires a strong understanding of project management principles, financial analysis, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Engaging with project teams to develop project budgets and financial forecasts, projecting monthly spending, challenging project cash flow, and providing all necessary financial data to support project financial goals.
    • Tracking project expenditures and analysing budget variances and communicating these to relevant stakeholders.
    • Generating regular and ad-hoc financial reports for project stakeholders and provide financial insights to aid in decision-making during project review meetings.
    • Identifying financial risks & opportunities associated with projects and work with project teams to propose ideas to mitigate financial risks with regular follow ups.
    • Implementing and maintaining financial control mechanisms to prevent cost overruns.
    • Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and organizational guidelines.
    • Maintaining accurate financial records and documentation for auditing purposes.
    • Participating in the continuous improvement of financial processes and project management methodologies.
    • The single point of contact for all department's financial matters concerning the designated project portfolio, offering additional ad-hoc financial assistance to project teams.
    • Monitor customer invoicing and ensure the prompt collection of invoices.
    • Manage vendors, including establishing performance metrics, conducting performance reviews, and providing vendor-related reporting.

    Key Qualifications

    • Proven track record of 3-7 years, demonstrating expertise in end-to-end project financial management which include developing project budgets and financial forecasts, projecting monthly spending, challenging project cash flow, and delivering required financial, tracking project expenditures, analysing budget variances.
    • Experience in vendor management: Determining vendor performance matrix and executing vendor performance reviews.

    · Proficient with MS Office Suite: MS Excel etc. Technology savvy – open to learning new technologies.

    • Adept in generating financial reports and presentation to stakeholders.
