Materials Planner - Singapore - Search Network Pte. Ltd.

Description

Review and analyze MRP shortage report to raise purchase request to Purchasing to ensure availability of raw materials to support forecast, production schedules and customer orders.

Provide tactical support by working with other related departments (QC, Process team, Production, Purchasing, Flavorist, etc) on raw materials management for day-to-day business activitiesAddress immediate shortage not covered by routine replenishments, highlight potential raw materials shortfalls to Production Planner & Customer Service and work out contingency plan to meet all production schedules.

Maintain optimum inventory level of raw materials (DOH & supply assurance). Review safety stocks levels in a regular basis.
Analyze raw materials forecast, usage abnormality, raw materials obsolescence and slow moving stock.
Proactively identify supply and forecast issue and report to Demand Planning team as and when required.
Coordinate with Flavorist on Harmonisation of Raw Materials and Product Revision of Finish Goods.
Ensure correctness of Master Data for Planning in ERP System.
Work on other assignment and project as and when required.
Job RequirementDiploma/Degree in Business Management or equivalent.5 years experience in Raw Material PlanningSAP (preferred), Production system, Microsoft officeAbility to multi-task
