    About this role
    Do you enjoy leading projects and teams to deliver some of the most exciting work in the built environment? If you're a Senior Project Manager with a proven track record of delivering and advising on projects across all phases of the project lifecycle then we want to hear from you Using your analytical and problem-solving skills you will be key in supporting clients to overcome some of their biggest challenges.

    What will I do?

    • Undertake day to day project management duties for current ongoing project commitments and future projects.
    • Work under broad guidance and be responsible when required for work of others.
    • Implementing and managing the internal coordination within the client and instructing the project team accordingly to ensure effective and efficient delivery of projects within specific remit.
    • Facilitating a client-specific online Project Management tool throughout the project from regular completion of KPI scorecards, assessments for project teams to reporting of project progress and cost performance within client organisation.
    • Ensuring end to end project financial management, including close out of the project financials.

    What will I bring?

    • A relevant university Degree and at least 2 years of experience in providing Project or Programme Management services for Engineering consultancies.
    • Relevant industry experience in Mechanical or Electrical or Project Management within a consulting business environment.
    • Membership of relevant professional institutions/professional peer bodies or significant credit towards eligibility for membership.
    • Proven working knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, codes of practice, and guidelines – and Arup's related procedures including OH&S.
    • Effective written communication and report writing skills.
    • Ability to maintain personal effectiveness particularly during periods of higher than normal workload.
