Job purpose

• To provide the optimal level of care in accordance with established policies and procedures.

• To assist in activities and programs promoting healthy aging for clients.

Duties and responsibilities

• Help in seniors' personal hygiene including bathing and changing of diapers.
• Assist client in showering, ambulation/exercise, and toileting.
• Assist and faciliate in activities with seniors.
• Support therapists with intervention for seniors.
• Assist nurses for taking clients' vital signs.
• Perform transport escort duty and responsible for seniors safety during transport.
• Report to superior if any abnormality observed.
• Conduct activities with clients.
• Kitchen duties which involve simple food preparation.
• Disinfect and clean Centre and equipment.
• Assist Enrolled Nurse / Registered Nurse as when required.
• Upholds and practice high standards in the care for clients set by the Centre Manager.
• Any other tasks as and when assigned by the Centre Manager.

Minimum Qualification Level

• Secondary Education with / without GCE Level
• Candidates with WSQ Nursing Care or Healthcare related Certification with 1 or 2 years relevant experience will be an advantage.
