    Services Installation and Intervention Engineers will engage across all phases of the business value stream for I&I engineering; Product Management, Product Line Maintenance and Engineering (PLM/PLE), FEED studies and tenders, project engineering execution, and services onshore & offshore technical support.

    Job Description


    This position:

  • Leads and executes the subsystem, configuration, design, and documentation of Tubing Hanger Running Assemblies (THRA) and Simplified Landing Strings (SLS)
  • Collaborates with the customer and provides engineering solutions satisfying customer operations.
  • Leads the development of specialty equipment needed to support customer operations.
  • Ensures engineering deliverables are compliant with customer, industry, and Federal Regulations.
  • Manages potential variation order request impacting engineering deliverables.
  • Reports health status on assigned projects to system engineer or project manager.
  • Serves as the main point of contact for external clients engineering personnel and sub-contractors.
  • Develops and maintains the project engineering schedule with planning personnel.
  • Leads engineering feeds, studies, and tenders for THRA's and SLS's.
  • Engages in technical strategy meetings to define the engineering scope of work for the projects.
  • Assist Technical Management in the development and design execution of strategic hardware.
  • Proactively monitors product performance trends of THRA's and SLS's.
  • Collaborates globally on product improvement and new product development opportunities.
  • Develops value proposition and business justification based on business priorities for investment.
  • Leads engineered solutions to improve underperforming THRA's and SLS's products.
  • Engineering point of contact for planned and unplanned technical support during onshore/offshore
  • Participates in Services Technical Readiness Reviews (TRR) and After-Action Reviews (AAR).
  • You are meant for this job if:


  • BS Degree in engineering or equivalent with at least 8 years of experience in engineering or related fields as a minimum.
  • Advanced project engineering skills.
  • Strong ability to lead and foster communication within a team.
  • Advanced working knowledge of industry standards and federal regulations is preferred.
  • Advanced understanding of engineering principles, design methods & calculations.
  • Skillful communicator and negotiator.
  • Excellent training and mentoring skills.
  • Advanced planning, organizational and lean problem-solving skills.
  • Strong understanding of business challenges and what drives customer values.
  • Understanding customer requirements and ability to translate them into product specifications.
  • Ability to think and act independently on complex projects and issues.
  • Strong ability to transfer knowledge and expertise.
  • Independent learning for continuous professional development.
  • Strong influencer of diversity of thought.
  • General understanding of economic factors (cost, profit, impact of decisions).
  • Offshore experience running Interventions or Completions is preferred.
  • Ability to lead and prepare applicable technical information.
  • Self-initiate work with limited supervision and direction.
  • Ability to prioritize work.
  • Work Environment

    Work Environment

  • Office based position with occasional trips offshore.
  • 80-85% office environment and 20-15% field (shop / onshore / offshore) environment. The office environment is a flexible working program with includes a minimum of 2 days in the office a week and 3 days maximum working from home.
  • Travel may be required to support mobilization, demobilization and offshore operations domestically and internationally.
  • Any offshore travel is optional and not a requirement to the role
  • Physical Demands

  • Frequent sitting and operating a computer when in the office.
  • Frequent walking, standing, climbing stairs / ladders while onboard the vessel and platforms, as well as exposure to sea conditions (vessel movement, summer heat, etc.)
