What the role is

Part of a team that manages the Ministry's budget, grant management, procurement process and financial operations. You will work with various MOH Divisions to ensure optimal provision, allocation, and management of the Ministry's budget to achieve Government's strategic objectives in a fiscally sustainable and valueformoney manner.

You will be working in an innovative, people-centred organisation that contributes towards the promotion of good health and ensuring access to good and affordable healthcare for all Singaporeans.

You will be working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment that would require the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders at the same time.

What you will be working on

Operationalise funding frameworks, budget policies and procedures to ensure the effective use and allocation of resources in line with national strategic outcomes.
Evaluate operating and development budget proposals from MOH Divisions, MOH Agencies and other MOH funded entities.
Review and formulate budget policies and guidelines.

What we are looking for

Tertiary education in Accountancy, Business, Economics or any related discipline
At least 8 years of relevant experience in finance or audit. Experience in public sector finance will be an added advantage. Applicants with fewer years of experience as well as fresh graduates may be considered for an Assistant Manager role. Similarly, applicants with more years of relevant experience may be considered for the Senior Manager role.
Able to multitask, work independently and as a team.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, able to work effectively with stakeholders
Good quantitative and analytical skills, meticulous with the ability to grasp timelines, operating context, and ground realities.
Proficient in Microsoft Office tools.
