Role and Purpose:

the incombent is responsible in ensuring the entire lifecycle of scaffold setting up and taken down are performed in a safe manner which includes but not limited to protecting the job site and the workers assembling it from injury.

He/She shall also be responsible for completing reports that detials the performance of their team, the condition of the scaffolding and the overall condition of the job site.

Responsibilities:

Review and monitor plans for scaffold related activities such as staging, erection, modification, dismantling and destaging. Review daily reports on activities, manpower and progress. Coordinate with Construction Team on Scaffold Plans.
Pariticipate in design review and resource planning of the scaffold such as weight limitations, scaffold type, fall protection, tieoffs, support, etc. Review weekly plans for all scaffold related activities and scaffolding materials inventory.
Lead, participate and promote HSSE initiatives at work sites which includes but not limited to site safety inspection and safety promotion. Ensure work is preformed safely in compliance with IOGP, HSSE Management system and legal requirements.
Ensure contractors conduct daily inspection and documentation of the condition of the scaffold. Witness and monitor contractors supervision on all scaffoldrelated activities. Assess integrity of scaffold works.
Ensure all scaffold team members are competent when undertaking work. Conduct weekly safetytime out relating to scaffold activities.

Qualifications:

At least diploma level with 5 years experience in Marine Industry is prefered (or equivalent)
Marine Metal Scaffolding Course for Supervisor (or equivalent)
Work-AtHeight Supervisor Course (or equivalent)
Familiar with marine construction drawing and plans
Proficient in Scaffold and Work-AtHeight legal and other applicable legislations.
PC Literate with good documentation reports presentation.
Good Subcontractor management
Team-Player with good engagement with team
Ability to independently think through multiple alternatives, potentials consequences and economics impact of decision to determine best approach.

Contract length: 18 months
