    JOB PURPOSE

    This position supports the Medical Affairs (MA) daily routine and projects. Through this internship, the successful candidate will get to understand role and responsibilities of MA function, specifically the role of Medical Scientific Liaison, Medical Information Services, post-marketing clinical studies and medical operations. As this position supports a regional MA team, he/she will be exposed to different ways of working and understand different pharma regulations in the APAC region.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    The Intern will be responsible for managing Medical Affairs related duties including, but not limited to:

    1. To understand the roles and responsibilities of Medical Affairs functions

    1. To understudy the role of Medical Scientific Liaison,
    2. To understand and apply Medical Information Services,
    3. To understand and apply the role of Medical Affairs in reviewing Promotional Materials,
    4. To learn and understand about the post-marketing studies and investigator-initiated studies.

    2. Supporting Medical Affairs team in

    1. Event coordination and logistics, for virtual and onsite events, e.g medical congresses, advisory boards, etc,
    2. Management of Contracts, agreements and other legal documents,
    3. Contribute to the development of MA SharePoint 2.0 and digital newsletter
    4. Other duties as required.

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • Pharmacy or Life Sciences undergraduates in University located in Singapore.
    • Someone curious and motivated and always seeking to improve processes and outcomes.
    • Someone independent and motivated and a fast learner.
    • Able to adapt to different environment.
    • Have strong organisational skills and attentiveness to details.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with colleagues and external parties, demonstrated analytical mindset.
    • Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, Power Point, SharePoint, Teams), Zoom.

    SUPERVISION PLAN

    • All 3 TA leads to provide a list of projects to reporting line manager and will select which projects upon alignment
    • This is to maximise intern's learning of the medical affairs function
    • Bi-Weekly check in's with intern on progress
    • Participate in meetings whereby intern is part of the project to provide support (where needed)
    • Seek for feedback from other TA leads on progress on intern. Will provide feedback and areas of learning to intern
