- Teach introductory to advanced Spanish to tertiary students
- Develop and implement curriculum for Spanish language courses
- Design and develop multimedia course materials
- Use new technologies in language instruction
- Coordinate large courses
- Communicate with students in English (CEFRL C1)
- Postgraduate qualification in Spanish as a foreign/second language, Spanish Linguistics or in Spanish studies
- Native proficiency in written and spoken Spanish
- Experience in teaching Spanish preferably at tertiary level
- Experience in developing Spanish language materials, including e-learning materials
- Experience with multimedia and computer-based instructional technologies
