Purpose Statement
- Be part of the APAC core team for project Magellan for Sales Operations and assist to map the process of sales operations in each country and BU in ASEAN (as necessary).
- Support APAC Senior Sales Operations Manager in processes and tools change management for ASEAN.
- Lead all sales operations related process training in ASEAN.
Roles & responsibilities
- Support APAC Senior Operations Manager in strategic projects, providing ASEAN requirements, information on sales processes and practices, conducting impact analysis, sharing pain points/opportunities and other responsibilities as they arise from such programs
- Collaborate with commercial and functional teams to implement Commercial Excellence programs to drive competitive advantage and program management mechanisms/dashboards to track implementation and progress against Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Execute analysis to extract and summarize different types of data and provide insights and recommendations to leadership
- Lead forecasting activities across different business units and countries, working with Finance, Supply Chain teams to improve the processes
- Scope of process in Sales Operations may include:
- Pricing process
- Master data management
- Sales general skills training
- Compensation administration
- Contracting
- Sales & Marketing systems center of excellence (e.g. salesforce/cloud, etc.)
- Work with country teams to identify and map core process of sales, sales operations (including interfaces with customer care, marketing, finance, and others) for the countries in the ASEAN region.
- Prioritize the mapping of sales operations processes for the countries in ASEAN, standardize sales operations processes within ASEAN, using APAC processes as benchmark.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures (e.g. federal/country and regulatory requirements).
Requirements:
- An excellent communicator with fluency in both written and spoken English
- An exceptional high EQ with the ability to manage all levels of stakeholders and complexity within a matrix organization
- Highly analytical coupled with strong stakeholder management skills
- Works under mínimal supervision with the ability to independently determines and develops various approaches to solutions
- Strong in mapping processes and developing process roadmap on a regional platform
- Bring about the best practices in working towards a centralized function
- Able to work on issues of moderate to complex nature where analysis of situations or data requires evaluation of a variety of factors, including an understanding of current business trends.
- Travelling required as and when needed
- This role can be based anywhere in these APAC countries
