    Description

    You will be assigned to undertake cargo oil operations activities which include:

    • Co-ordinate all aspects of the post deal trading oil and freight operations activity and ensure that all obligations arising from the Oil Contracts / Voyage Charter Parties are carried out, and that any necessary requirements are complied with.
    • Prepare and draft Contract once a deal is done. Follow through with Contract counters if any.
    • Make Oil and Vessel nominations, prepare and send voyage orders / documentary instructions and monitor progress of vessels. Ensure that all shipping documents requirements are processed timely and accurately.
    • Appointing, monitoring and verifying payments to ship owners, ship agents and surveyors.
    • Liaise with Freight Charterer to ensure smooth operations, avoid supply disruption and to minimize demurrage costs.
    • Scheduling and aligning various grades and/or buyers and loading date range for freight optimalization and in-line with buyers' requirements.
    • Ensure efficient turnaround of ships for CFR, CIF & DES cargoes, avoid supply disruption and to minimize demurrage costs.
    • Assist Traders in tenders' preparation, pricing proposal, costing and submission.
    • Contribute commercially to operations activities through Min / Max load quantity and B/L date. Highlight operational opportunities to Traders with view to maximizing trading margins.
    • Keeping abreast of market developments through daily market reports, constant contacts with suppliers, terminals, customers, ship owners, brokers, surveyors and agents in order to maximize business opportunities.
    • Ensure counterparties' compliance of Finance Credit guideline. Ensure that any necessary financial security (e.g. LC or PCG) is in place before start of loading.
    • Liaise closely with Finance, providing them with timely and accurate data to facilitate smooth L/C arrangement / Invoicing / Payment for cargoes.
    • Responsible in the generation of related trading-position reports, market analysis / performance reports, risk exposure and profit & loss reports.

    Requirements:

    • Diploma / Degree in Business Management, Engineering or equivalent
    • Minimum 2- 3 years of relevant working experience
    • Possess good organizing and planning skills
    • Possess good communication and written skills
    • Able to work independently as well as in a team
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office
