Job Details:
This role requires good organizational/coordination skills and management of a small team of piping engineers. Direct
contact with the client and vendors will be necessary.

The principle role of the Marine Piping Engineer is to:

Assist to plan, define, award and manage various Engineering Contractor's technical deliverables for

both basic engineering and detailed design, as well as their timely issuance to support construction
and integration activities.

Assist to plan, define and award and manage Package Vendor's technical deliverables and equipment

delivery.

Assist to plan and define refurbishment & life extension scope of work related to Piping Systems. This

cataloguing.

Ensure compliance with Client basis of design and corporate specifications.
Ensure corporate Piping & Valve Specifications are implemented on projects and develop corporate

Piping & Valve Specifications to suit Projects as necessary.

Prepare, interface with client and maintain a deviation request list with regards to all Client

specifications.

Prepare projectspecific disciplinerelated technical specifications and drawings with regards to all

Client, Company and Classification Society requirements.

Ensure that all contractors and vendors meet the contractual, Classification Society and technical

requirements related to piping engineering discipline.

Responsible for ensuring development and consolidation of pipingdiscipline engineering

registers/lists, using input from the other disciplines.

Assist in interface engineering registers, P&IDs, calculations and drawings.
Ensure compliance with Safety Studies recommendations and best practices.
Assist troubleshooting during construction, mechanical completion, precommissioning and

commissioning, through to start-up, and including during operating regime.
