    Analysis & Reporting (Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics)The Operation teams at Shopee covers the operational end-to-end process, from when the buyer searches for a product listed on the Shopee platform, to the moment the buyer receives the products.

    The team analyses and monitors operational KPIs across the region and conducts root cause analysis when operation performance fluctuates. The Operations team comprises Customer Service, Payment, Listings, Warehouse, Logistics, Seller Operations and Fraud.

    The Shopee Regional Logistics team is committed to providing Shopee's users with the best e-commerce logistics experience in the most cost-effective way.

    Positioned at the crossroads of Business, Operations, and Product, the team strives to enhance delivery speed and reliability by creating innovative services to exceed users' expectations.

    Using the latest technology and data-driven strategies, the team optimizes the entire logistics value chain, from seller to the last-mile delivery, and pre-purchase to order completion.

    With access to extensive data, the team gains insights into logistics operations and user preferences to deep-dive and solve pain points from a first-principles basis.


    Job Description:
    Conduct analysis to identify bottlenecks and pain points using large amounts of data related to logistics operations and user behaviorsStructure the identified challenges and develop solutions that balance trade-offs between efficiency, costs, and user experienceEvaluate solutions quantitatively and qualitatively to drive data-based decision-makingTranslate solutions into scalable and pragmatic steps that allow for ground implementationCollaborate with local counterparts in each market to understand their unique business needs and constraints, iterate solutions, and overcome any implementation challengesDesign and implement dashboards and data visualizations to monitor improvementsCommunicate insights and recommendations to stakeholders at various levels of the organization, including senior leadership, to influence decision-making and drive changeRequirements:Degree in STEM or other subjects with an analytical component with 3-5 years of working experience in a similar roleStrong analytical and problem-solving skills; experience with SQL, Python, or any analytical tools is necessary to work with datasets to evaluate issues and trade-offs quantitativelyPassionate about deep-diving into problems from first-principles; innate curiosity to understand the whys and how'sPositive learning attitude, unafraid of embracing new problems and working with ambiguityInterest in building broad capabilities in strategy, operations, and data analytics in the e-commerce industrySelf-motivated with strong ownership of work, proactive in finding better ways to get things doneStrong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal stakeholdersAbility to thrive in a fluid, dynamic, and impact-focused visualizationsCompany information
