Description

Role and Responsibilities:

· Render Engineering support for design, installation and maintenance of electronic security systems (CCTV, Card Access, RFID, Key Management Network Cable Management, Fiber Cable patch, Fiber Cable testing, Fiber Cross connect and Cable Management)

· Possess experience to provision, deploy, configure, and administer different pieces of network and security-related hardware and software. The aforementioned may include firewalls, routers, switches and other networking solutions.

· Coordinate and review all project documentations which include delivery notes, maintenance and operation manual requirements, cabling, testing and commissioning procedures and inspections.

· Strong customer orientation with soft skill to manage and maintain strong relationships with client, consultant, partner, and vendors.

· Possess skillsets to maintain upgrades, installations, and planning alongside exploration of new features and innovative solutions

· Possess the ability to evaluate, test, and troubleshoot technologies when new technologies are onboard by the company

· Setup and Configuring the AD, SQL, Windows Server, Switches, Storage and VMS/Card Access/Key management Software Application.

· Configuring RAID System and Troubleshooting windows, VMS and Storage system.

· Integrate the Third-party application and testing of installed systems, Applications & software.

· The ability to provide technical support for resolution of customer problems, incidents, issues, requests, and queries

· Liaise with other support teams, or product teams as required to resolve requests/issues in a timely manner

· Ensure proper documentation and notification updates

· Possess IT networking knowledge (Eg: CCNA and able to deploy/Setup L2/L3 network switches and routers).

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

· At least 2 - 3 Years of working experience in the related field.

· Candidate must possess at least a Diploma / Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Computer/IT technology.

· Possess excellent, clear and concise communication skill which is crucial to the project deliverables.

· Possess adaptability to work as a member of several teams, which requires flexibility. Candidates interested in this role should be comfortable working in a matrixed IT environment

· Possess excellent analytical skill as the primary role of the security engineer's job is to solve issues for the clients,

· The engineer will also have to proactively perform research, escalate, and resolve issues effectively

· Enterprise firewall experience – experience configuring and managing enterprise firewalls and gateway devices is important in this role

· Preferred knowledge or Experience not limited to the following applications and Skills:

VMS System : Genetec, Milestone, Aimetis, FLIR (DVtel), Lenel, Bosch, Hikvision

Card Access System : Genetec, Lenel, Pacom, Biostar and Bosch

Key management system : Traka and Deister

RFID system : Guard RFID(Argus)
