Resident Engineer (External manufacturing, Up $5.5K)

Roles & Responsibilities

• Manage supplier relationships by clarifying technical expectations and specifications with CM partners during operations, serving as the primary technical expert for manufacturing.

• Proactively collaborating with technical engineers to troubleshoot operational issues and enhance process efficiencies.

• Address technical issues during manufacturing, offering expertise for problem resolution and change request reviews.

• Work with CMs to identify continuous improvement opportunities in the manufacturing process and value engineering.

• Enforce stringent quality control measures, collaborating with internal teams for regular audits of the manufacturing process.

• Track daily operational performance of CMs and provide updates to CM Resident Engineers and Managers.

• Ensure effective communication and cross-functional support for day-to-day issue management in project management.

Requirements

• Bachelor in supply chain management, engineering or a related field

• At least 3-5 years of working experience manufacturing (operations, quality, technology, planning) function and semiconductors required.

• Experience in External & Contract Manufacturing, Supply Chain Process & Quality Management.

• Proficiency in Mechanical and Electrical/Electronic Drawings as well as Microsoft Office Suite.

• Excellent project management and organizational abilities, able to coordinate and facilitate across various internal and external functions to achieve the desired outcomes.

• Knowledge of Lean / Six Sigma and risk management tools (e.g., FMEA)
