The
NTU University Advancement Office (UAO) supports the University's giving mission by fostering meaningful relationships and strategic partnerships with philanthropists, alumni, business community partners, corporations, foundations and friends that result in goodwill and philanthropy towards education and research that underpin a shared sustainable future.


Our Office is seeking to hire an advancement professional to develop and manage relationships with donors on an individual basis, and managing campaigns targeted at the leadership giving segment as a group.

The incumbent shall also develop and implement programmes that create advancement opportunities.


Responsibilities:


  • Develop and manage relationships and activities related to the cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of leadership giving donors to maximise the University's philanthropic outcomes.
  • Lead or support research efforts to understand the leadership donor segment.
  • Manage campaigns through purposeful and timed direct mail, electronic direct mail and other marketing channels.
  • Collaborate with the internal teams and
    NTU Corporate Communications Office to ensure compliance to brand attributes and messaging are incorporated into philanthropic giving appeals and other materials.
  • Identify touchpoints including University events and festive occasions to engage the leadership donor community and strengthen their affinity to the University.

Requirements:


  • University Degree with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience.
  • Exposure to fundraising operations and/or membershipbased organisations and relevant skills, preferably in a higher education sector environment; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and education/ training and skills.
  • Understanding of Higher Education/Not-ForProfit fundraising with an ability to achieve monthly activity targets as a key metric of performance. Business development/consultative sales experience is a plus.
  • Numerate, good with data analysis and in turnkeying projects and achieving targets.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in managing complex and diverse relationships and the proven ability to operate effectively with multiple stakeholders.
