    About the Investment Facilitation Team
    The Investment Facilitation team fronts EDB's engagement with existing and new international businesses, by assessing, supporting and facilitating their investment plans in Singapore. This team interacts directly with companies across a range of industries and geographical regions.

    The Client Facilitation role requires our officers to oversee the end-to-end facilitation of companies' investment journey in Singapore. Responsibilities include monitoring and reviewing their progress reports, assessing their requests for revisions to their investment plans and supporting their expansion plans in Singapore.

    We are looking for a customer-centric Senior Associate/ Manager, to provide EDB's clients with a positive investor experience. This candidate must have good written and verbal communication skills, strong in analytical thinking with an eye for details.

    [What you will be working on]

  • Reviewing the progress of companies' investment projects by monitoring their progress reports and/or conducting site visits, enabling timely and accurate disbursement of grants to grant recipients,
  • Reviewing and assessing companies' requests for incentive amendments based on EDB's internal policy guidelines and the companies' progress in project implementation, to determine EDB's level of support,
  • Reviewing and assessing policy-governed requests from companies such as manpower and land related service requests based on EDB's internal policy guidelines. This requires close collaboration with other internal divisions and government agencies to assess and accord the appropriate level of support to companies,
  • From a policy perspective, the candidate will have the opportunity to partner with EDB's Planning & Policy divisions across a range of specialisations such as tax policy and human capital development and/or other government agencies to optimise work processes and assessment criteria for different types of service facilitation requests
  • As the candidate progresses in seniority with sufficient exposure to client facilitation requests, there will be greater responsibilities in terms of coaching, management and client engagement on more complex requests, as well as developing scalable service standards for EDB to support our new and existing clients.

    [What we are looking for]

    To meet the challenges of this role, you must have/be:

  • Bachelor's Degree (a degree in Accountancy and/or Business Management will be an advantage)
  • At least 2 to 3 years of working experience in client engagement related work. Prior experience in grant administration or policy formulation work will be desirable but is not necessary
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Enjoys work that is guided by standard operating procedures but comfortable to exercise judgement to recommend alternative methods or solutions when needed
  • Strong in analytical thinking and with an eye for details
  • Conscientious and able to attend to customers' requests with accuracy and efficiency
  • Team player who can collaborate well with different stakeholders
