Description

• Co-ordinate with shared services centre relating to accounting operations including day-to-day finance operations so as to keep proper accounting records and meet reporting requirements on time.
• Financial accountingo Prepare monthly closing journalo Prepare / Review monthly accounts reconciliations and scheduleso Review monthly inventories ageing report for adequate NRVo Control chart of a/c, review consistency, control a/c creation and archiveo Assist FM in annual insurance policy renewal reviewo Audit review support (External and GCAD review)o Ensure compliance to accounting standardso Preparing and submit Benefit in Kind (BIK) - Car and Car-related Benefitso Annual Statutory Accounts, XBRL
• Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivableso Review of sales ledger and purchase ledger reconciliationo Review monthly inter-co billing and ensure consistent accounting treatmento Review debtors aging reports and vendors statement reconciliationo Prepare commissions for payroll submissiono Prepare payroll journalso Monitor daily cashflow requirementso Prepare/ review Banker's Guarantees applications, maintain records and monitor expiry/renewalo Prepare / review payments to vendors
• Provide advice, guidelines and instructions to shared services centre and operations on day-to-day accounting matters
• GST and taxo Review GST submission workings and GST reconciliation testo Prepare tax & deferred tax computation for accounting provisiono Prepare corporate tax computations for review by HO and tax consultants
• Fixed Assets and Capexo Prepare capex and maintain capex records for new / replacement of fixed assetso Maintain asset registero Prepare costing for demo registration
• Budget and forecasts - Provide assistance to reporting team to formulate budget and forecasts
• Collaborate with Digital Technology team – user acceptance tests for new programs, parameters and interface set-ups, etcJob Requirement
• Minimum Diploma holder in Accounting & Finance with 5-6 years of working experience or Degree holder in Accounting & Finance with 3-4 years of working experience
