    Roles & Responsibilities

    1. Job Functions:

    • To be responsible for the cleanliness of the Home with the daily chores and ensures safety and well-being of the residents.
    • To make the bedding daily and change the bedsheets, blankets and pillow covers weekly and arrange the furniture neatly.
    • To sweep and mop the floor daily in dormitories, corridors, and all common areas and place signage to caution passer-by.
    • Responsible in maintaining the cleanliness of all the washrooms
    • To wipe the fans and windows weekly.
    • To remove clutter and maintain dormitory cleanliness.
    • Responsible in maintaining the cleanliness of the kitchen and all the utensils and cutleries.
    • Responsible in ensuring proper food storage.
    • Responsible in collecting food samples on a daily basis for all meals.
    • To serve all meals to all residents.
    • To collect used clothes for laundry cleaning.
    • To do laundry cleaning and ironing.
    • Responsible in maintaining the cleanliness of the laundry area.
    • To chaperone residents to and from school.
    • To carry out any other relevant tasks as required for the Home and PERTAPIS.

    2. Candidate Requirements

    • Able to speak and write basic English

    3. Working Hours

    • Mon - Sat: 9.00am - 6.00pm

    4. Work Location

    Selected applicant will be allocated to either of the following welfare homes.

    • Children's Home : 993B Kovan Rd, Singapore 545676
    • Centre for Women & Girls : 42 Surin Ave, Singapore Catered to Female residents)
