Description

• Assist in the setting up of the Risk Management Department in accordance to the company's guidelines; Prepare and establish the Risk Management Policy and Procedure
• Identifying potential risks associated with the firm's trading activities, including market, credit, operational, and legal risks
• Measure risk both qualitatively and quantitatively to facilitate risk identification and management;
• Preparing of both regular and adhoc Risk Management Report in a timely fashion for the Management to make prompt and informed decision;
• Conduct due diligence on upstream and downstream customers, gather information regarding to the market reputation, performance of contracts, and financial status; Downstream customers are mostly China buyers
• Manage and calculate capital use budget, and exchange rate risk management and related business capital cost calculations to ensure liquidity and capital security
• Ensure the rigor of the trade contract, clarify the rights and obligations of both parties, and avoid disputes and unnecessary incurred expenses
• Monitor risk regularly and adhoc basis in a timely fashion;
• Liaise with the relevant authorities (Including relevant agencies in China)and external parties with regards to the Risk Management issues.
• To implement, monitor and manage local and China regulatory and internal liquidity risk metrics
• Liquidity Risk modelling for China markets
• Continuously review the liquidity risk framework in the light of changing business dynamics and regulatory requirements

• Degree or above with major in Banking and/or Finance, Compliance, Law, Risk Management or Business Administration
• Minimum 5 years' relevant Operational Risk Management experience
• Proficient in English and Mandarin language in order to liaise with Chinese speaking associates/ customers
• Strong ability to analyze, collate and understand the business requirements
• Good interpersonal skills to liaise with traders, ARMs as well as other departments and stakeholders
• Ability to work on own initiative, willing to take on responsibility. Good lateral thinking capabilities and selfcontrol/selfsolve abilities
• Thorough and detailed working style, attention to detail
• Ability to work with/ oversee complexity and work under high pressure
• Professional and convincing communication skills with stakeholders in various roles and functions
• Decisive, wellorganized, proactive and act with care and assertiveness
