    Roles & Responsibilities

    The Credit Operations Associate will entail the job of providing MNC bank with the support to the day-to-day credit facility operations.

    Responsibilities:

    • Review incoming credit requests for completeness and accuracy, ensuring conversion to concise and accurately recorded credit facilities.
    • Prepare Credit Approvals (CAs), conduct pre-screening of Mortgage applications, track CA progress during the approval process, and ensure approvals are obtained in compliance with policy and accurately recorded in the database.
    • Maintain accurate insurance records and controls to ensure timely follow-up and renewals of required insurance for equipment and equipment liability.
    • Perform data entry for Mortgage facility/GML facilities where applicable.
    • Review and prepare redemption quotations for Mortgage where applicable.
    • Retrieve portfolio and related credit information for internal and external auditors and contribute to achieving acceptable audit ratings.

    Requirements:

    • Banking Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in a banking or financial services role is required.
    • Credit Processing: Ability to review incoming credit requests, prepare credit approvals, and track approval progress accurately.
    • Attention to Detail: Must possess a keen eye for detail to ensure completeness and accuracy of credit requests and documentation.
    • Data Entry: Proficiency in data entry for recording credit facilities and mortgage applications accurately.
    • Compliance Knowledge: Understanding of banking policies and procedures to ensure credit approvals are obtained in compliance with policy.
    • Insurance Management: Ability to maintain accurate insurance records and ensure timely renewals for required insurance.
    • Audit Support: Capability to retrieve portfolio and credit information for internal and external auditors to contribute to achieving acceptable audit ratings.

    Desirable Skills:

    • Mortgage Processing: Experience or familiarity with pre-screening mortgage applications and preparing redemption quotations for mortgages.
    • Credit Analysis: Knowledge or experience in analyzing credit risk factors and determining creditworthiness of applicants.
    • Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact effectively with clients and internal stakeholders.
    • Organizational Skills: Ability to prioritize tasks, manage workload efficiently, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
    • Teamwork: Capability to collaborate effectively with team members and other departments to achieve common goals.
    • Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing requirements and procedures in the banking industry.

    The work location will be in the Changi Business Park.
