    Job Description

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Ensure daily toolbox meetings are conducted consistently.
    • Verify risk assessments and safe work procedures for tasks on site.
    • Check permits-to-work (PTWs) for high-risk activities.
    • Review high-risk permits-to-work (PTWs) before work starts.
    • Ensure workers wear proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
    • Encourage a strong safety culture on site.
    • Maintain Emergency Escape/Fire Engine Access routes.
    • Participate in site visits/inspections.
    • Assist in accident investigations.

    Site Inspection:

    • Conduct thorough walkthroughs of the site.
    • Identify and address potential hazards.
    • Ensure workers follow safety procedures and wear PPE.
    • Issue reports for unsafe practices.
    • Verify Traffic Management Plan implementation.

    Plant & Equipment Inspection:

    • Ensure proper maintenance of plant and equipment.
    • Check fire extinguishers and monitoring equipment.

    Housekeeping:

    • Inspect site cleanliness and address any issues.
    • Dispose of waste properly.

    Site Security:

    • Implement site access system.
    • Verify security passes for workers/visitors.
    • Inspect site hoarding.

    Environmental Compliance:

    • Verify dust and noise control measures.
    • Ensure erosion and contamination prevention.
    • Manage adverse weather conditions.

    Documentation & Reporting:

    • Maintain EHS documentation and incident reports.
    • Submit weekly and monthly EHS reports.
    • Review safety meeting records.
    • Share relevant information with the team.
    • Consolidate site information for stakeholders.

    Monthly EHS Tasks:

    Training & Certification:

    • Ensure workers receive necessary safety training.
    • Review training records and conduct toolbox talks.

    Regulatory Compliance:

    • Stay updated on EHS regulations.
    • Update procedures for compliance.

    Safety Culture Evaluation:

    • Assess site safety culture and develop strategies for improvement.

    Documentation & Reporting:

    • Maintain records of safety meetings and incident reports.
    • Perform data analysis for safety metrics.
    • Review contractor's EHS programs.
    • Discuss EHS performance with the PM team monthly.
