Clinical Research Coordinator (Contract, Adolescent Medicine):

Posting Date: 9 Aug 2023The Clinical Research Coordinator will assist to develop a partnership between the KKH Adolescent Medicine Service and Duke University and sustain communication between the two entities.

Using a locally adapted guide, deliver a parental education program for patients with adolescent health conditions referred from the clinic site.

Communicate regularly with and report progress back to the research study team. Taking informed consent from patients. Coordinates and administers a funded research study. Assists in program planning and ensures that pre-established study protocol and regulatory requirements are adhered to.


Responsibilities:


  • Serve as the primary staff liaison with study participants, program facilitators, and healthcare staff.
  • Conduct screening eligibility checks for the study.
  • Taking informed consent from patients.
  • Facilitate research program activities for patients.
  • Ensure research program safety and incident reporting protocols are followed.
  • Coordinate activity schedules and program changes
  • Conduct volunteer recruitment and training (as applicable)
  • Oversee enrollment of new members into the research program.
  • Maintain inventory of research program supplies
- clean, organize, submit repair requests as needed.

  • Compile and maintain research study documents (ie enrollment log, attendance tracking binder, surveys etc)
  • Communicate regularly with and report progress back to study research team as needed.

Job Requirements:


  • Polytechnic diploma with 5 years' experience or degree related to Nursing/Psychology/Teaching or with other qualification in related field.
  • A team player and yet able to work independently.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical, organizing and prioritizing skills.
  • Strong coordination and facilitation skills.
  • Possess positive personality with high initiative, ability to solve problems and work with mínimal supervision.
  • Work requires a broad knowledge of organization, communications and program coordination.
