Description

• The primary responsibility of the Senior Operations Manager is to ensure company production objectives are met at the lowest cost while maintaining positive customer relations through quality and service.
• Responsible for development and oversite of staffing plans to ensure achievement of monthly production and shipment goals.
• Partner with human resources and department managers to ensure job positions are filled in a timely manner.
• Responsible for developing training and cross-training plans to achieve a flexible workforce.
• Manages and solves employee issues and concerns to create an atmosphere of openness and maintain an informed work force that knows and understands company policies and business goals.
• Assist in building annual financial plans and budgets, develop quarterly financial forecasts and perform in-depth financial analysis to explain budgetary variances.
• Drives and implements cost reduction strategies, strategic planning and projects.
• Initiates continuous improvement projects that includes new technologies, equipment evaluation, automation and new process methods.
• In partnership with quality, engineering and other operational leaders to build a robust quality system that meets customer expectations.
• Develops and implements inventory processes that meet company objectives for inventory accuracy and eliminate inventory variances.
• Ensure continuity of end-to-end processes to meet on-time delivery expectations and customer SLAs.
• Build a safety first culture and develop a safe work environment for all employees. This includes promoting adherence to all local, state, federal and company safety policies, guidelines and laws.
