Description
Responsibilities:
. Ensure the timely completion of the month-end close process, and that financial reporting is accurate and compliant with group policies and regulatory standards.
. Maintenance of financial ledgers, accounting schedules and bank reconciliations.
. Ensuring timely reporting for Group Consolidation.
. Ensuring accurate and timely preparation and submission of tax and other statutory returns to government authorities.
. Coordinate and liaise with internal and external stakeholders to support and complete the financial tasks assigned.
. Support internal and statutory audits, ensuring the timely completion of audits and acting on issues and recommendations.
. Actively reviewing and recommending measures for continuous improvement in internal controls and business processes.
. Support improvement initiatives and ad-hoc activities as assigned from time to time.
Requirements:
. At least 5 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
. Prior exposure to trading/ manufacturing operations.
. Degree in Accountancy or equivalent with relevant professional qualifications (CA/CPA)
. Strong technical accounting and reporting knowledge under Singapore GAAP and IFRS
. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
. Hands-on experience with SAP
. Good written and verbal communication skills
. Demonstrated ability to resolve issues/ get things done in a chaotic environment
