Job duties:


The primary role of the Accounts Receivable Manager will be to act as the Singapore Manager of Accounts Receivable ("AR") with direct management responsibility of the AR employees in Singapore.

This team will manage AR for Singapore & partly for Australia (working along-side the Accounts Receivable Manager based in Australia).


Encompassing, but not limited to the following:

  • Managing the Accounts Receivable function and working with AR teams across APAC with the aim to implement the best operating model & maximise collections of trade receivables
  • Hands on when required to assist with managing workflow
  • Manage the relationship with the Brokerage & Investigation team & assist with corordination of the investigation handover project
  • Act as the local conduit so that APAC participates and can choose to benefit from strategic developments taking place, within the Billing & AR function
  • Work with Operations partners to agree, implement and support the most appropriate model & other project initiatives
  • Manage the delivery of accurate & timely management information & analysis to the business for awareness & to enable effective decision making
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the Group
  • Ensure high risk control awareness in the AR Team, with control procedures put in place and evidence available to support risk attestation, & ensuring that team members are aware of their risk management responsibilities
  • Train and develop team members including developing individual performance objectives, monitoring progress and administering ongoing feedback, to build and maintain an effective and efficient team who can uphold the values and principles of our corporate culture framework
  • Take the local lead on specific projects from time to time in order to deliver process and control improvements consistently across the APAC region

Supervisory duties:

  • Establish an environment that promote respect for individuals and adheres to the policies and guidelines of TP ICAP group
  • Provide leadership, direction, advice and guidance to the team under your supervision, thus maintaining high levels of integrity, motivation and morale
  • Maintain staff competence by ensuring that staff skills or knowledge gaps are met with appropriate training and development, as required, in order to perform their roles to their maximum capability and fulfil their potential
  • As appropriate, initiate actions to further improve you own and the team's skills and performance
  • Ensure all staff who report to you are aware of how to escalate any issues which may arise in the performance of their role
Person Specification

Knowledge

  • 10 years + experience in Accounts Receivable, with Senior leadership experience
Experience

  • Able to lead a wellestablished team
  • Coach / mentor, resource planning
  • Collection, processing & system projects
  • Strong risk control awareness

Skills:


  • Demonstrate strong leadership skills, an ability to manage teams and proven experience in partnering the management team or assist in strategic decisionmaking
