About our group:

Seagate's Read Channel technology development organization develops ASIC Read Channel Chip to provide high performance in Data integrity for Hard Disk Drives (HDD)._ The development requires understanding the Mixed signal Analog and Digital electronics to provide optimized solution for Certification and Reliability for HDD._

About the role - you will:

_ Work with Seagate engineers evaluate Read Channel error correction capability _

- _Track the Channel performance in different Manufacturing process_
- _ Use of high speed interface for all measurement in the lab_
- _ Assist Read Channel error recovery teams on Data integrity optimization. _

About you:

- _ Knowledge in read channel, magnetic recording components._
- _ Knowledge of recording subsystems including heads, media and Read channel_
- _ Knowledge of test equipment such as oscilloscopes, _
- _Process knowledge of Programming language C, Matlab, Python is an added advantage._

Your experience includes:

- _ Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Electrical and or Electronics Engineering_
- _ Charting skills using Microsoft Excel _
- _Python, Matlab and C programming_
- _ Experience with automation of data acquisition_
- _ Bachelors and/or equivalent experience_
