- Designing, developing, and improving semiconductor manufacturing processes, including deposition, etching, lithography, and doping, to meet performance and yield targets.
- Design and develop technical procedures for production and customers.
- Interact with customers to resolve a variety of difficult process engineering issues/problems with limited supervision.
- Implementing strategies to optimize existing processes, reduce cycle times, minimize defects, and increase overall yield and efficiency.
- Provide technical support to Engineers/Technicians and customers to solve complex problems.
- Collaborating with R&D teams to transfer new technologies into manufacturing, ensuring successful integration and scalability.
- Implement new technology, products and analytical instrumentation.
- Evaluating and selecting manufacturing equipment, tools, and technologies to achieve process objectives.
- Providing technical expertise in equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Analyzing process data, conducting root cause analysis, and implementing corrective and preventive actions to address difficult process engineering issues and deviations.
- Ensuring adherence to quality standards, industry regulations, and safety protocols throughout the manufacturing process.
- Manages and coordinates activities of Product/Process Engineering Team, including periodically process compliance internal audit and customer audit, and drive for proper closure and effective continuous improvement.
- Direct the efforts of the product/process engineering function, including supervision of the engineers, setting up the NPI process, procedures and reports.
- Provides project and team leadership for the Process Engineering Group and also will be responsible for evaluating, monitoring and providing high level guidance and leadership.
- Documenting process changes, experimental results, and improvements.
- Preparing reports and presentations for internal teams and stakeholders.
- Provide technical documents written for product/process support and perform changes to the documents, provide training to production and review the effectiveness for enhancement.
- Working closely with crossfunctional teams, including engineering, quality assurance, and production,to resolve process-related challenges and improve overall manufacturing efficiency
- A Bachelor's in Mechanical,Electrical,Electronics Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field.
- Significant experience (typically 5+ years) in semiconductor process engineering within a manufacturing environment.
- In-depth knowledge of semiconductor fabrication processes, equipment, and materials.
- Ability to read and correlate schematic diagrams and layout drawings.
- Familiar with PDM and BOM structure.
- Good knowledge in SAP, 8D, PDCA and PFMEA.
- Excellent in analytical, organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Must be a team player and highly motivated.
- Proficiency in statistical analysis, data interpretation, and process control methodologies.
Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast paced, collaborative environment. - Excellent communication skills and the ability to lead and mentor junior engineers or team members.
- Demands a comprehensive understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes, a track record of process improvement, and the capability to lead initiatives that drive efficiency, quality, and innovation within the manufacturing environment.
- Must be able to communicate effectively with suppliers and internal teams in both bilingual.
- Detail oriented and able to multi-task/work under pressure in a high energy and fast paced-environment with critical and tight schedules.
