About our client:

Our client is a global MNC that develops and manufactures process equipment for process industries, including Chemical, Petrochemicals, Polymers, Oil & Gas.

**About the role: In this role, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. You are required to assemble, conduct and operate pilot testing related to the company's separation process technology. The individual will also work closely with process engineers and the sales team to develop and commercialize chemical processes.

This is a new headcount, a permanent position to support the pilot plant operations.

Setting up, operating, and maintaining pilot plant equipment related to the company's separation process technology
Collaborating on crossfunctional teams to conduct experimental runs while maintaining a safe working environment
Utilizing strong mechanical aptitude and problemsolving skills
Ability to work flexible/extended schedules with rotating shifts (days, afternoons or overnights) if needed
Carry out HAZOPs and complete HAZOP action items
Experience in transporting and handling chemicals in different packaging sizes.
To adhere strictly to the company and national ESH regulations and operational procedures
To contribute the development of environmentally friendly products and solutions.
To participate and contribute to the consultation process in health and safetyrelated activities, where applicable.
To report all ESH potential and actual incidents to line manager or site ESH manager.
To help prevent and report any environmental and health and safety violations in the workplace.

About you:

Diploma/Degree in Chemical engineering, Biochemical engineering, Environmental engineering or related fields
5 to 7 years of experience in an industrial plant, pharmaceutical, petrochemical or flavor and fragrance process environment.
Knowledge of separation processes such as distillation, Liquid-Liquid extraction, and crystallization.
Experience in commissioning and operating process plant.
Knowledge of conducting Risk Assessment, methodology in Process Safety (PHA, Whatifs,), and Change Management.
Working knowledge of Electrical, Instrumentation & Controls, Mechanical systems etc.
