[What the role is]

Driving data analytics use cases and projects, and competency development in Muis.

[What you will be working on]

Work with line units to develop relevant research and data analytics use cases, and drive analytics projects to generate insights on key business operations and initiatives in key priority areas as assigned. This includes developing partnerships with external parties to drive the organisation's data analytics and digitalisation plan while ensuring compliance to data management governance and controls.
Drive access to and use of data analytics platform(s) in line with the organisational requirements and data analytics roadmap. This includes performing integration and crossanalysis of multiple datasets to extract further insights in key priority areas as well as identifying new gaps and trends to facilitate management decision making.
Support efforts in strengthening the Muis Data Office. This includes reviewing the structure and key strategies as part of the Muis Data Strategy review.
Support the Muis Chief Data Officer, Chief Information Officer, IT and Digital Services (ITDS) and the Strategic Policy & Planning Office (SPPO) in key data, information and knowledge management efforts, and in reporting progress to the Muis ICT & Digitalisation Steering Committee.
Support the Ministrylevel Data Workgroup and ICT & Digitalisation Steering Committee on data governance, sharing and exploitation.[What we are looking for]
Minimum 3 years' relevant experience in statistical analysis, data visualisation, data mining, project management and policy analysis.
Working knowledge of AI technologies and forecasting/predictive modelling tools would be a plus.
Comfortable working with large data sets and able to communicate complex data/concepts in a clear and simple manner.
Resourceful and able to work independently, and as a team.
Good writing, communication and interpersonal skills.
