Overview:

In this role, you will support photographers in the Photo Studio, assist in scheduling photography sessions for new acquisitions and exhibitions, handle and retrieve artifacts for photography, and perform photography for the National Collection.

Responsibility:

1. Database Management: Assist in updating records in the Collections Database to ensure accuracy and completeness.
   
2. Photo Studio Assistance: Support photographers in the Photo Studio, which may involve handling photographic equipment and assisting with studio setup.
   
3. Scheduling and Coordination: Assist in scheduling photography sessions for new acquisitions and exhibitions & coordinate with relevant teams to ensure timely availability of artifacts for photography.
   
4. Artifacts Handling and Retrieval: Assist in handling and retrieving artifacts for photography sessions, ensuring their safe and careful transport.
   
5. Photography: Perform photography for the National Collection, adhering to established standards and guidelines.

Requirements:

• Minimum qualification of Polytechnic Diploma or 'A' levels or 3 years of relevant experience in the arts industry.
• Interest in Still life Photography.
• Be proficient in MS Office, Adobe Photoshop, and Capture One Pro
• Physically fit to handle heavy artefacts and photography equipment.
